Wade Swanson is General Counsel for Bar-S Foods, A Sigma Company, one of the largest producers of packaged food products in the United States.
Mr. Swanson is responsible for managing all legal issues for Bar-S, including corporate, litigation, regulatory, and labor and employment matters. Prior to joining Bar-S, he was an employment law litigator with Littler Mendelson’s Phoenix office. Mr. Swanson also previously led Maricopa County’s civil legal services department, which represented more than 40 appointed departments and elected offices of the nation’s fourth-largest county.
Mr. Swanson received a B.A. in religious studies and a J.D. from Arizona State University. Before he began private practice in the Tucson office of Snell & Wilmer, Mr. Swanson was a judicial clerk for both Judge Cecil B. Patterson of Arizona’s Court of Appeals and Justice Stanley Feldman of the Arizona Supreme Court.
