Biography

   Steve Ford’s practice addresses the litigation and strategic needs of businesses and the individuals who own, operate, and work with them.  With offices in Gilbert’s Power Ranch, Steve is able to provide convenient, one-on-one attention to clients throughout Maricopa County.

    Mr. Ford’s practice primarily focuses on representing litigants plaintiffs and defendants in civil and commercial matters in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and other dispute resolution settings.  Steve handles all phases of litigation, including developing claims and defenses, preparing necessary and effective filings, conducting efficient, targeted discovery and other pre-trial tasks, and presenting cases to judges, arbitrators, and juries.  Mr. Ford also advises individuals and businesses in contract and entity formation, preservation of their business interests, and litigation avoidance and strategy.

   Steve has called the Phoenix area home for over 40 years and attended elementary school, junior high, and high school in Tempe.  He graduated cum laude from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1995, and before entering private practice, served as a law clerk to Judges Thomas C. Kleinschmidt and the late Michael D. Ryan during their respective tenures on the Arizona Court of Appeals.  Steve is licensed in Arizona state and federal courts and in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a member of the Arizona State Bar, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the Scottsdale Bar Association.
