Joyce Van Cott has been practicing law for more than 35 years. She attended Whittier College in Whittier, California, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Economy in 1979. She graduated from Whittier College School of Law in the top ten percent of her class in 1982. In 1989 she was a founding member of the Phoenix law firm of Glover & Van Cott, P.A., which, in 2010, became Van Cott & Talamante, PLLC. She is a member of the State Bars of Arizona and California and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Districts of Arizona, Northern California, Central California, Eastern California and Southern California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. She also has an "AV" rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
