Biography

A State Bar of Arizona certified specialist in estate and trust law, Jeanne Vatterott-Gale is a partner in the Hunt & Gale law firm.  She has practiced in southwestern Arizona for more than twenty years in estate planning and probate, business and municipal law.  Also admitted in Missouri and California, she also practices in the Imperial Valley, including El Centro, Winterhaven, Bard and Brawley, California. Her practice includes tax-sensitive drafting, trust administration and contested probate litigation including breach of fiduciary duties and claims for exploitation of vulnerable adults.

A cum laude graduate of St. Louis Unviersity Law School, she also holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from St. Louis University where she was a Thomas White-Fellow in Public Law and Government and Assistant Editor-in Chief of the Public Law Review.  In 2001, she completed a Diploma in Taxation at the University of San Diego Law School with a focus on estate planning and partnership taxation.

Ms. Gale formerly served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C, assisting program staff in the areas price support, commodity donations and crop insurance programs. Her real estate background in St. Louis included serving as Associate General Counsel for the St. Louis Redevelopment Authority.  She was also a clinical instructor at St. Louis University Law School and held administrative positions at Stanford Law School, and Boalt Hall.
