Prior to the practice of law, Mr. Ian Hasegawa, Esq., MBA earned his MBA at the Thunderbird School of Global Management and then spent several years with the international division of a large brokerage firm as broker and trader.  Ian then spent several years working in international trade and logistics, consulting with importers and exporters on process improvement and trade law compliance. It was during this time that Ian began earning his law degree.
Before establishing his own practice, Ian worked for a prominent Asset Protection firm with clients in all 50 States, and prior to that practiced in a full service estate planning and probate firm Sun City Arizona helping clients create a legacy for themselves and their loved ones. Ian’s experience with complex probates, conservatorships, estate planning, trust administration, business planning, and asset protection planning all combine with his diverse background to serve clients in creating the Estate, Business, & Asset Protection plan that best serves their needs.  Ian brings a wealth of legal, business and financial experience to the table when assisting his clients.

During law school, Mr. Hasegawa was a participant of the mediation clinic, and later a student supervisor of the clinic where he mediated several community disputes referred by the Phoenix prosecutors office.  He has completed a 40 hour mediation training course and received additional training as a volunteer mediator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. At the EEOC, Ian volunteered to mediate discrimination claims between federal workers and their employing agency.

Mr. Hasegawa is a member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals and the State Bar of Arizona.  He is a member of Wealth Counsel (a nationwide network of Estate & Business Planning Attorneys that share best practices).  Ian volunteers whenever possible for Wills for Heros and similar events that benefit our nations Veterans.  He is a VA accredited attorney, focussing his VA efforts on Estate Planning for Veterans and their Families to maximize benefits available to them as a result of their service.

Ian and his wife originally hail from Canada, but are naturalized citizens and have been Arizona residents for 21 years and still have no desire to go back North to experience the beautiful snow!  Mr. Hasegawa has spent considerable time in Latin America, both Chile & Mexico, and maintains fluency in Spanish.  He is happy to help Spanish-Speaking clients.  

Mr. Hasegawa brings a wealth of business and financial experience to the table when assisting his clients. He is always focused on his client’s needs and is zealous in his efforts to resolve their problems and concerns. 

His office is located in the Arrowhead area in Glendale in the NW Valley close to the Loop 101 and 59th Avenue.
